Bliss is a 37 metre (121ft) Luxury Super Yacht launched in 2010, designed by Dubois Naval Architects and constructed by Yachting Developments. This 37 metre yacht is one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest composite sloops and one of the finest yachts built in its category in the recent times.
CHM Electronics was appointed by the client and requested to design a system using the latest in Audio & Visual technology with an intuitive and easy to use control system.
CHM Electronics worked closely with the client, Naval architect, & shipyard and was responsible for the system design, integration, project management, installation, commissioning system drawings/documentation, crew training, customer support & service for the systems below:
- Philips Pronto Touch Screen Control
- Audio & Visual
- Kaleidescape Media Server
- Distributed Audio & Video
- Home Theatre
- Exterior Audio
Upon completion of the project, the client was overwhelmed of the system design and commissioned CHM Electronics to upgrade and standardize his home as per his Super Yacht.
At the 2011 C.E.D.I.A (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) awards, CHM Electronics was nominated for “Best Marine Project”. Please refer to the gallery at the top of the page.
